Dr. Amy Farthing PT, DPT cert. DN

Amy Farthing PT, DPT is an experienced physical therapist that has been treating patients in outpatient orthopedics for many years. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She is certified in dry needling and is well versed in Vestibular rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques and general orthopedic rehabilitation.


Dr. Kristin T. Wright PT, DPT, ATC, COMT, OCS, CSMC Lvl 1&2, OLY

Kristin has served the Paulding County community for the last 6 years and is excited to further her career in private practice with Dr. Farthing. Kristin earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Manual Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and a Level 1 & 2 Sportsmetrics ACL tear prevention and rehabilitation specialist.

Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, Kristin excelled in athletics, where she played Ice Hockey and Softball at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. She then went on to earn a Bronze Medal in Ice Hockey at the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.

Kristin lives in Acworth with her husband Jeremy, sons Logan & Kettler, and their furry friends Sally and Lucky. Kristin spends her free time playing pickleball, mountain biking, and at various soccer fields with her kids.


Andrea Burger, Massage Therapy

Andrea Burger has been a licensed massage therapist for over 10 years. She holds a certification in Neuromuscular massage therapy. She has extensive experience with patients dealing with injuries and chronic conditions and specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, NMT and Sports massage. She is currently accepting new clients on Wednesdays.


Shaia Malcomson, Patient Services Representative

Shaia has many years of experience in patient services with extensive knowledge of insurance, scheduling and administrative duties needed to provide patients with the best possible options for their physical therapy needs. As a bonus, she is also a former patient at Pure Rehab who has recovered from injury to return to roller skating better than ever. She is a talented artist, expressing her creativity through various mediums. She has 3 cats and 1 dog and is a lifelong animal mom.
